The EKP will be participating in the Arts in Bushwick's 4th Annual Community Day on Sunday, June 5, 12-6PM at Irving Square Park (Brooklyn/Queens). I will have a table with information, videos, Newtown Creek Alliance maps and a "cast of characters!" There is a long line up of kids activities and performances by musicians, artists, and poets in the park. Visit local artists in our art market, let the kids run around, and participate in performance art with your neighbors. Art Market and kids activities start at noon, stage performances begin at 2pm. Join us at 1:30pm for a group photo with Nick McManus.
Irving Square Park (Brooklyn/Queens) is bordered by Weirfield Street, Halsey Street, Knickerbocker Avenue and Wilson Avenue.
It’s accessible by the L train to Halsey or Wilson stop; J to Halsey; or the B26 and B60 bus lines.
Family friendly!
FYI: Im looking for volunteers for set-up, table help and break-down. Please contact me via email: hgsanchez3@yahoo.com
